When Loreena Yeo (Active Rain Superstar) emailed us a month or so ago asking if we would be interested in meeting her as she was traveling through Philadelphia as part of her family vacation, we of course said "Yes" !! These opportunities come few and far between. I really enjoyed meeting Loreena and Michael in person !! They are of course just like who they are on their blog, very friendly and genuine.
We connected as we talked about real estate related topics such as our related markets, our businesses, blogging, Active Rain and the like ! What I find so amazing is all the benefits that come from being part of the Active Rain community. If it was not for Active Rain, I would have never have found Loreena's blog and never would have met her and Michael in person.
Loreena may not know this, but her blog is definitely in my top 3 blogs that I read. If you have not checked it out, I would highly recommend doing so at "Stories From my Frisco TX Homefront". Her blog was also one of the first blogs that I subscribed to on Active Rain. Through her writing and sharing her experiences both helped me and inspired me to become a better blogger and be consistent with blogging. Thank you Loreena ! And of course Michael recently set up his blog at Mike Yeo's blog . If you have not subscribed to both of their blogs, take advantage of the opportunity to do so ! You will be glad you did.
