RE/MAX Awards - 2008 Production
We received 2 prestigous awards from RE/MAX pertaining to accomplishments reached in 2008 and wanted to share them with our clients, subscribers, readers and the awesome Active Rain community.
The 2 RE/MAX Awards Received were:
1. 5th Place - Total Production for the State of Pennsylvania
2. 3rd Place - Total Transactions for the State of Pennsylavnia
We wanted to thank everyone for their participation in these awards, especially all the great clients we worked with during 2008 in addition to our great staff and management at our RE/MAX Affiliates office in Philadelphia.
For other consumers and Realtors reading this, this shows that there still is a lot of activity out there and houses ARE still selling. I don't have the exact number but I believe we had close to 100 settlements during 2008. That is a lot of buyers and sellers !
I believe 2009 will mark the "stabilization" year in the Real Estate Industry with the market hitting a bottom and rebouding either late 2009 or early 2010. In addition, some local markets may already have hit that point. Either way, there is tremendous opportunity for buyers in this market and houses are still selling for sellers ! It is critical to have the right Realtor represent you !
And for Realtors, this is probably the single best time to capture market share from your competition ! We plan on 2009 being a banner year for us as Stephanie and I are close to becoming part owners of our RE/MAX office and look foward to improving our presence on the internet even more. We believe that those agents that have the strongest presence on the internet with the most expererience will be the most successful in the years to come. And of course, if it was not for Active Rain, many of our settlements would not have occured in 2008. Thank you Active Rain !
