It is amazing to me that 2010 is here right now ! Happy new year ! This is a great time to look back into 2009 to
recognize your successes and failures, to learn from your actions in terms of what worked for you and what did not and then utilize that information for goal setting for 2010.
Once you have those goals, no matter how small or large, write them down and post them somewhere. It is amazing what happens to those goals once they are written down as they become part of you, both from an accountability standpoint as well as a motivation standpoint !
For us, 2009 was a fantastic year in our success of growing both The Somers Team and RE/MAX Access . Our goal for 2010 will be more of the same in terms of doing excellent work, providing superior client service, and thus increasing market share for us individually and for our office. This continues to be a time where many agents and/or offices are cutting back on their marketing and advertising and are frozen by the market conditions. This is where the opportunity is NOW to increase your level of production by standing out among the crowd, to increase your marketing and advertising to grow your business and take that market share away from your competition. It only happens through hard work and motivation as well as a positive attitude.
This mindset applies to any industry and to any business. So whether you are in real estate or a different field, the questions are this:
What are your goals for 2010 ?
What are you going to do NOW to kick start your business ?
