It is one of the most fascinating pieces of literature that provides an inside glimpse of the behind-the-scene forces that lead to the Subprime Crisis. It really illustrates how greed and the drive to profits blinds rational decision making. As well as denial...
And what is even more amazing is how so few people really and truly saw the blow-up coming. And even more unreal is how these financial instruments and the drive behind in creating new loans led to the financial crisis and the collapse of countless long-standing companies such as Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers.
