I can go on with hundreds of stories like this. I have only had to spend a few hundred bucks to hire a locksmith to let me into my condo twice before I figured out how to remedy my forgetfulness. The cure is: LOCKBOX.
You can find them at Lowes and Home Depot for about $30. Some hook like a Master Lock and others can be screwed onto a surface. You set your secret combo, drop the key inside and say goodbye to those OMG moments when you are Locked Out Again!
