After years of watching 2nd Street grow and shift in Northern Liberties, we have to say that the past few months, we're seeing some really positive changes. With the 2nd Street Sweep Clean-up and some new businesses settling in, we are loving the neighborhood efforts.
Perfect timing, too. The Annual 2nd Street Festival is back on July 31st and this giant block party is one of the events we most look forward to. It's the one day of the year where you will see all of your favorite business owners and locals strolling 2nd Street freely, as North 2nd between Germantown and Fairmount will be closed off to traffic. This year you can expect beer gardens, workshops, art, food, and other merchandise vendors, along with four music & event stages, all programmed by the Philadelphia Folksong Society.
