Where do you think this riverview scene is?
It's at the SugarHouse Casino, Philadelphia's first casino that recently opened along the Delaware River in Fishtown.
It looks pretty quiet for the outdoor patio of a casino, right? To our surprise and pleasure, this serene outside area did not seem very casino-like. There are amazing views of the river and of the Ben Franklin Bridge, and there are trees and greenery providing a lush and vibrant atmosphere. You can enjoy a meal or a cocktail while drinking in some of the best views in the city. We did not expect to find a riverside retreat during our first trip to SugarHouse, but we're glad we did.
