We've always loved the fun multi-paneled windows on the door and exterior of this space at 2nd Street near Poplar, which had been home to a shop called Conspiracy Showroom a few years ago.
So we were delighted to peer in and see that something new was happening inside. Or something that was "Once Worn." The narrow store has been lined with clothing racks of gently used items for men and women. It's name, Once Worn, does indeed bring to mind that someone once loved that red leather dress on the wall enough to buy it and have an amazing night in it. We don't know the full story, but the imagination wanders when you purchase something that someone else loved before you.
Clothing, shoes, jackets, and accessories fill the store, with a dressing room towards the back. What will you find beyond those windows?
It's not the only shop on North 2nd St in Northern Liberties for a previously owned design.
