Memberships for the Arrow Swim Club go on sale to the public today. And guess what? I am so there.
I didn't know what to expect at the Launch Party for Arrow Swim Club at Tendenza in Northern Liberties. Having heard very mixed opinions about having a posh pool scene in Northern Liberties, I was very curious what it was all about. I rushed out of pilates class, slapped on some lip gloss, and 2 minutes later when I arrived at Tendenza, WOWZA! The place was aflutter with people, music, video, cameras and even a TV crew! People were dressed to the hilt and everyone looked marvelous, darling. Simply smashing.
Was I intimidated by this gorgeous, young, and just stepped out of GQ and Vogue crowd? I'd be a liar if I said no. I had visions of me in a swimsuit and shuddered for a moment. But as I spoke to the folks celebrating the Opening of Arrow Swim Club, I realized that almost everyone had the same twinge of self consciousness mixed with an overwhelming desire to JOIN IMMEDIATELY.
The verdict is in. I am so there! Chris and I are joining and plan to have a great time this summer! We will let you know our review of the Arrow Swim Club in Northern Liberties in the months to come. And if you plan on joining too, come over and say hello. I will be the one in the muumuu blogging on my computer. Just kidding about the muumuu.
