We were saddened to hear that Swift Half Pub will end its run at the Piazza at Schmidts on the final day of the year.
We've had some rockin' good times at the sports-centric bar over the past year and a half...and we wish the owners the very best (they also own Good Dog Bar in Center City, which thankfully, is not closing). Good Dog Bar recently celebrated its 7th anniversary.
And the last chance to say farewell to Swift Half? The New Year's Eve party, with passed appetizers and drink specials, no cover.
We hear from the Insider that the space will be taken over by a local concert promoter and already has a chef lined up. We'll keep you posted as we hear details.
