Cure for a Workaholic: The Mercer Street Cafe in Port Richmond !
My colleagues at our Remax office ( @Remax Affiliates ) always rave about the Mercer Street Cafe in Port Richmond.They are regular noshers at the cafe located at Westmoreland Street and Mercer Street. Being the workaholic that I am, I can not count the number of times I passed on the opportunity to take a lunch break to eat at the Mercer Street Cafe. When faced with an opportunity to eat like a civilized human being, I always chose to obsessively copy-scan-fax endless documents or remain burried nose deep in my laptop.
I mean, how great can a cafe be, right? WRONG !
Yesterday I took a moment and dropped by the cafe for a quick bite. And WOW was I suprised ! Not only do they have a delicious menu, the place is so cute and inviting, the staff is incredibly friendly, and they even have a Zagat rating!
If you have not visited, do not be like me ! Do not put it off one moment longer. It is a guaranteed cure for the workaholic in you!
