Tonight is the last night that you can catch a glimpse of Light Drift, the lighting installation along the Schuylkill Riverwalk that has everybody talking, interacting, and taking photos of.
As we approached the crowd checking out the lights last night, the buzz immediately hit us. Strangers were talking excitedly to each other, explaining how the glowing orbs worked. If you approached one, it started pulsing blue and green, and if you sat down in the orb seat, it actually changed its hue and set off a reaction in the orbs that were shining in the water. Photographers were snapping away and children were dancing around the orbs. If only we had something like this year-round, right? What a beautiful weekend addition to the cityscape.
