The sentimental-meets-urban-edge project, from Stephen Powers and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, has plastered city buildings with messages that echo the Philly voice. If you ride the El through West Philly, you'll see the series from the train, beginning at 48th and Market. Sayings like "Your Everafter is all I'm after" make the daily commute a lot more visually appealing.
Don't miss Powers at the Northern Liberties Tattoo Shop the week of February 7, where the artist will be creating designs for those interested in some on-the-fly ink.
