Another thing that makes Philadelphia special...We have a Fashion Week that is accessible to everyone...you don't have to be super connected in order to attend or worry about any fashionista attitude here.
Philadelphia Fashion Week has just released its schedule and we are proud to see some our local boutiques (Delicious Boutique, Arcadia, Carmelita Couture) mix with international talents (Allegri, Cold Method, WESC) for a four-day run of streetwear and couture, Philly-style.
It's also a chance to peek into the future of fashion and highlight some student designs from local universities - School Night is all ages with no liquor on-site and shows from Drexel University, Art Institute, Moore College, University of Delaware, and Philadelphia University.
PHL Fashion Week runs from October 6 - 9 at the 23rd Street Armory in Center City. Each night brings DJs, shows, and boutique vendors (a chance to shop in between runway shows). You can purchase tickets on the website. Here is some footage from last year's show:
