The New Race Street Pier Brings Energy to Philadelphia

The New Race Street Pier Brings Energy to Philadelphia

Race Street Pier - Jazz BandStephanie and I took a lovely walk to the newly opened Race Street Pier this past weekend.  Not only does it bring energy, it provides access to the River !

Before this was just a barren wasteland. Now it is a lovely, manicured, landscaped getaway of sorts: a little piece of heaven on Penns Landing where folks can walk out onto to the pier, next to the Ben Franklin bridge, enjoy a water ice, some music and a nice breeze.

It is a great addition to the City of Philadelphia !   Having another destination on the River is a great start of many things to come.

It will be a great summer !
