I have seen other Active Rain bloggers say that their blog had been picked up by a local newspaper or their company. I always thought that that would be so cool and would wonder how would that happen ?
Well, the same just happened to us !!! Our blog post:

Was just featured in RE/MAX Times Online ! The article is the 2nd one down - view article .
It is pretty amazing that RE/MAX looks at our blogs for their publication. It is an honor to us that they chose our blog post. It also shows the power of Active Rain - its resources, name band and so forth to have larger companies and publications looking at our blogs !
The post also was a featured post on Active Rain. Our hope is that our content can be taken to heart and help other agents. I will re-read my post as well as we are setting our goals for 2009 !

Congrats! Yes, Remax loves good blogs and stories. They also love controversial ones as I got featured on Remax online a couple of months ago with a sparing match back and forth on one of my blogs. It's good exposure for referrals across the country.
It is the little things in life that make me smile. That and of course successful settlements : )

Donna - That is a great story. I think I remember which one that was... I will check your blog for a refresher. I thought it was really cool that when the RE/MAX International person called me she said that they constantly check out the Active Rain blogs for material for the RE/MAX Times - very cool !

I am glad they picked it up I saw it on line today. I missed the first posting of it so this is great. We have a retreat the first of Nov. that our office goes to and share ideas and work on our business plan for next year. I will post any good ideas I get when I return

I have learned more tech stuff from Bill Gassett in the last couple months than anywhere else in the last 20 years ! Castellum Realty has some of the most researched blogs I have ever seen. Loreena Yeo and Jason Sardi are 2 members blogs we subscribed to early on and have TERRIFFIC content. The list goes on and on and on - it is awesome to be a part of this community. We are so excited about the future, much beyond this one blog entry that got recognized : )

Great job. I've got another blog site that had a similar thing happen with. The main site picked up the blog entry off my blog and put it on the front page. It makes you feel great doesn't it!!!
