RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award
Being that it is a tough market, I think it is always important to share successes to show others than success is defintely an option in our current real estate market. A few weeks ago I was awarded with the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award. It can be seen on our site under the About Us section - Philadelphia Real Estate. The info is also shown below.
"Chris Somers is now a member of the prestigious RE/MAX International Hall of Fame. The coveted Hall of Fame Award is only given to Associates with more than $35 million in closed sales volume in real estate transactions since joining RE/MAX. Less than three percent of all RE/MAX Associates worldwide earned this esteemed award this year. Once inducted, the Associate becomes a lifetime Hall of Fame member."
It has been a lot of hard work and a lot of fun to accomplish this level of production. My wife Stephanie and I will continue to strive to be the best that we can in our profession as Realtors in Philadelphia. With hard work, a structured business plan, having goals, and of course being involved with Active Rain and blogging, I believe anyone can be successful in the real estate profession, no matter what the market conditions are !

Christopher and Stephanie:
Congratulation! It is always good to look back on how far you have come. Your post reminded me of when I got mine. Savor it, but get ready for the next one, I always look ahead. The Life Time Achievement Award. I know you will get it. Good Luck on the many roads and experiences that will get you there.
Richard
Richard, thanks ! Appreciate it. Is just one step on the road ! Will savor it though as you say and will keep moving foward. One day at a time, one deal at a time. These awards are gratifying - what is even more gratifying is doing good work and doing the best to represent our buyers and sellers and to be an integral part of the city's growth.
I have never worked at a large sales office. The broker didn't track sales records, etc. I think something like that would be very cool. I'm so glad that it falls on someone I know and respect very much. Good job, Chris and Stephanie! This is NOT an easy achievement
Lorenna - We appreciate the compliment, especially from you : ) . Is not an easy task at all, but at the end of the day, it is what it is... just a milestone. Being in a large or a small office, both have their benefits and disadvantages. Although I do think tracking numbers is important to help with future goals and the like. Let's both plan for a very successful 2009 !!
Chris, Hang that up--(in your fame area :) It's a wonderful award and I'm thrilled to hear of it....sure next year you're going to double it!
Wow! Congrats! That is really something escpecially considering the market!
Carole - Thanks !!! Am already a little nervous about next year but am always nervous at the beginning of every year ! It is a nice award though.
Cristal - Is all good ! The market is tough but all of us are out there working hard and are on the cutting edge with blogging, internet marketing, etc...
Congrats, that's awesome! And here is for an even better next year! ~Rita
Rita - Im with you !!!! Lets all of us have a great 2009 !!! I have a good feeling we will : ) ~ Chris
Very cool - congrats on the award. Now blow the puppy up and wallpaper you office with it! ;-)
Congratulations. That is a wonderful accomplishment. Especially when you have to apply yourself! Are you attending the RE/MAX International Convention in March?
